Review - Apivita Express Beauty Green Clay Face Mask

Apivita is one of those brands that I've seen on my perusing of the Marks & Spencer Beauty Hall, but have never really dived into - I've never really seen any reviews, and so I've only bought a couple of products from them (the Express Beauty face mask being the second), and I thought I'd share my thoughts on this product in particular; the Express Beauty with Green Clay face mask.

The first thing I'd say is that I'm a little confused to say the least about the pricing - buying two small sachets at a time would cost £18.75 per 100ml of face mask, whereas a tube (which, I must admit, does seem a lot less messy) would be £32.50 per 100ml. Confused? Me too. Happily, I quite like the sachets, as my skin changes pretty quickly from raging with spots to being unbelievably dry, so I can pick and choose my mask according to my skin's needs, and also, the sachets can be quite convenient for travelling, when you could quite fancy a face pack but don't want to lug the tube around with you.

However, the strange pricing aside, I do thing that this is a brilliant face mask. It's intended to draw out impurities, and my goodness, it does a good job at it - I have unbelievably stubborn blackheads on my nose (too much information, I know), and after using this face mask just once, the majority had disappeared. As my skin was quite congested, it did bring several spots up which had been sitting under my skin (lovely review, this, isn't it?), however these disappeared pretty quickly and my skin was left much clearer and far less bumpy than it was before.

So, overall, it's a thumbs up for the Green Clay Express Beauty face mask - although I wouldn't use it directly before a night out, due to it bringing out my under-skin spots, it's great for generally detoxing the skin and removing blackheads quickly. At £3 for two sachets, it's not that much more expensive than one of the face masks that you can pick up in Boots, and much more effective.
